This was my first class in my graduate program and one of my favorites. This class involved reading a good deal of books dealing with educational leadership, cultural leadership and how different people learned. It was a great class to gain perspective on different ways of teaching and learning.

This class dealt with accomodating special education students with reading assignments and assessments. The projects leant themselves to things I do in class everyday so it was a pretty easy course for me.

This class dealt with styles of leadership and how to successfully lead a school or organization. It was an interesting course especially to compare the organization I work for to an "ideal" organization.

Another class with Dr. Wieland that I quite enjoyed. In this course we read and reflected on books that dealt with people's individual learning styles and way in which people learn. It was also a good way to reflect on my own teaching and learning.

This class dealt with special education and mostly the paperwork side of things. We produced a service log, conducted parent interviews and developed a transition plan. It was interesting to interview parents on how they thought their child's education was going.

In this class we focused mostly on the paperwork involved in special education with our final assignment being writing an Individualized Education Plan with a partner. This class was mostly a review course for me as I am a special education teacher.

This course looked at cultural differences in learing, dealing with bias and confronting our own background with race and bias. It was a very well done course. I enjoyed the books we read and also felt it to be a very relevant course in today's world.

This was a very useful class as we developed an online classroom for ourselves which was very helpful during the COVID-19 school year. I chose to develop lessons for a cognitively impaired reading class.

This class has a strong focus on the principles of positive behavior supports and interventions (PBIS) and trauma informed schools.  This class has also influenced me to possibly pursue a certificate in Mutli-Tiered Systems and Support at MSU.

My Final course. It has been fun creating a profile and reflecting on my experiences as I have pursued my masters degree. This class has pushed me out of my comfort zone in creating a website which I had not done before.
